Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Could Be Revealed At IFA Trade Show In Berlin

When Samsung first revealed the very first Galaxy Note smartphone, they launched it at IFA. Now, Samsung fans are impatiently waiting for more news about the Galaxy Note 8.

IFA Executive Director, Jens Heithecker, suggested that the annual electronics trade show held in Berlin could be the ideal place for the tech giant to launch its next generation phablet.

In the previous years, Samsung has announced its flagship smartphone in August, with New York being a place for the latest announcements. But the company had held events in Berlin before, a day or two before the IFA trade show. This could mean that there is a big chance that Samsung could unveil the Galaxy Note 8 in Germany, and the IFA trade show being a possible destination.

Heithecker also mentioned that they could bring in massive coverage from media and journalists worldwide. It will be a big advantage to bring them all together in place during the big event.

According to Korea Times, Heithecker hopes to see a lot of participation coming from the Korean information technology enterprise at the said event for their greater presence in the European electronics market. The IFA chief also stated that there are discussions for a keynote by a Korean company's executive each year.

"Samsung will have the biggest presentation as well this year as far as we know, and we are very happy to have Korean industries such as Samsung, LG and other companies in our show," Heithecker said. "Over the last few years, we had so many Korean companies' executives on our stage, which I made me proud as people were wowed, saying Korean industries are so strong on the stage,"

Many top executives of Korean enterprise such as Samsung Electronics' consumer's electronics President Yoon Boo-Geun and LG Display CEO and Vice Chairman Han Sang-Beom delivered keynotes at the IFA event in the recent years. Heithecker suggests that non-European electronics makers should focus more on the market to establish their products and brands.

Unfortunately, details of the Galaxy Note 8 are still unknown, and speculations suggest that the device is already in the making. Also, early speculations connected to the Note 8 claims that it could resemble an enlarge version of the Galaxy S8.
