Another Delay From Apple’s Extremely Ambitious iPhone 8

The iPhone 8 is delayed until October or November. Just this Monday, KGI analyst Mr. Ming-Chi Kuo said that the iPhone 8 wouldn't launch until October or November due to its significant hardware upgrades.

Apple's flagship phone has a curved edge-to-edge OLED display for the first time with a camera and a fingerprint reader that can be found on the screen. It is also water resistant that comes in stainless steel and glass body with an upgraded storage starting at 32 GB and 64 GB of RAM. This phone can now be charged wirelessly and has a support for the Apple pencil. The new iPhone's price ranges $850 up to $1,000.

As said earlier, the new iPhone's design is entirely made up of glass, but this time, the new model's body is redesigned, and its inner parts are protected with steel. The OLED display is better than the retina one which makes the phone look sharper, clearer and far better. In addition, there will be four available colors of the phone. One can have it in Jet black, titanium, cherry pink and rose gold.

The iPhone 8 is expected to be the most premium of the three new iPhones set to launch this year that was also delayed by two months. Drexel Hamilton Analyst, Brian White, said the same thing about the apple's new 5.8-inch iPhone8. "The iPhone8 will be delayed by several weeks due to challenges around the 3-D sensing technology but still in time for the December Holidays." Just last week, it was also reported that supply constraints would also have delays after its launch.

Like the others, Kou's report suggests that Apple will launch its iPhone7s and iPhone7s Plus in September this year when it usually upgrades its iPhones. As what Kou have said, the delay may affect its sales since many costumers can't wait to have the iPhone 8 with their bare hands instead of the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus.
