Bagram Plane Crash Video: Final Moments of U.S. Cargo Aircraft Captured On Dash Camera (WATCH HERE)

A video taken on a dash camera captured the moment when a plane fell from the sky and crashed landed in Afghanistan this week has been leaked and since gone viral according to a report by The Huffington Post.

Approximately seven American crew members of the U.S. cargo plane heading for Dubai were killed on April 29 when the plane crashed shortly after taking off from a nearby Bargram airbase near Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.

"We did lose all seven crew members," a spokeswoman for National Air Cargo said according to a report by Reuters.

The plane seemed to take off at normal speeds as it gained altitude according to the beginning of the video before the aircraft seemingly stalls and twists quickly mid-air.

The plane crashed to the ground just moments later according to the video.

The Taliban were claiming responsibility for the crash, but NATO's International Security Assistance Force said there were "no reports of insurgent activity in or around the base" according to a report by the Associated Press.

The base is one of the largest in the country and is located just 25 miles north of Kabul.

"Safety is always our top priority at National Airlines," said the National Air Cargo's President Glen Joerger in a press statement. "This is a devastating loss for our family and we'll work diligently with authorities to find the cause. The Afghanistan Ministry of Transportation and Commercial Aviation is leading the investigation. Most importantly, our thoughts and prayers are with our crew members and their families."

The identities of the crew members were not immediately clear, but CNN has confirmed that all seven were American. Besides the crew members, no passengers were on board the plane as it was strictly a cargo flight.
