Very recently, HTC's latest flagship device has been given a name. It is reported to be called as HTC U 11. This device is set to bring forth good competition to earlier released high-end phones. HTC, though not as big as its other competitors, is set to bring competition to a whole new level because of its new device that's soon to be launched.

The HTC U 11 has appeared in a recent video which reveals its touch-sensitive edges. This device was earlier referred to as "Ocean," however, reports suggest that it will officially be called as the HTC U 11. It is expected to come in varying colors such as white, black, red, blue, and silver.

This reported upcoming device is expected to come with a touch-sensitive frame and HTC's new interface which is referred to as the Sense 9. From the video recently seen, the edges are designed to perform different actions dependent on the user's gestures.

The once codenamed "Ocean" device which is now called HTC U 11 is reported to come with 5.5-inch WQHD display. It is also reported to come with 4GB of RAM with either 64 or 128GB of internal storage. The camera is also considerably capable of capturing vivid images as it comes with a 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX362 and a 16MP IMX351 front-facing camera. This device obviously is a selfie-centric device giving better specs to its front-facing camera than the main one on the back.

The leaked video shows a menu option for Edge Sense which somehow suggests how a user can control the feature. It does look a little similar to that of Samsung. However, it is different for the HTC U 11 as it is triggered through the touch-sensitive frame.

The HTC U 11 is also expected to come with a full metal unibody. Unfortunately, this device suggests it will lose its 3.5mm headphone jack. Several updates promise this device to be a good one, which may even go up against the big ones.
