Survivor Arrest Mix-Up: Winner Kim Spradlin Arrested While At DMV (VIDEO)

"Survivor" winner Kimberly Spradlin found herself in a jail cell this week after an arrest mix-up took place while she was at the DMV according to the Inquisitr.

The 29-year-old bridal shop owner and winner of "Survivor: One World" was visiting the DMV in Texas to officially change her last name after getting married recently. A worker noticed Spradlin had a warrant out for her arrest and notified the police.

Authorities claimed Spradlin was wanted for "writing bad checks" and was escorted to a local jail where she was locked up for at least eight hours before paying the $1,500 bail.

After doing some investigating, authorities realized they made a mistake.

A warrant had been issued by authorities in Hale County, Texas for a Kimberly Spradlin, but it was for another woman with the same name and birthday according to local police.

The "Survivor" winner is working with authorities to clear up the mistake and find the actual Kimberly Spradlin that they're looking for. She's also still waiting to get back the bail money she was forced to pay according to the Inquisitr.

"Be careful at the DMV, (you) never know what's going to happen," Spradlin said according to TMZ. "Bring a jacket, its cold in jail."

Spradlin won $1 million for winning "Survivor: One World" and $100,000 when it was announced she was the fan favorite during the reunion special.
