2018 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG: Welcomes The Passengers With An Exclusive Ambiance

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG is another impressive line-up of the German global automobile manufacturer. The company has added a Magic Body Control suspension for the model for it to be focused on driving dynamics and at the same time prepared for bumps whenever hitting on a tough road.

The vehicle's curve tilting function contributes to its performance by turning up to 2.65 degrees. This feature reduces the perceived lateral forces and at the same time enhances the fun in driving on secondary roads.

This model comes with four different dynamic driving modes known as Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Individual. These modes allow the drivers to influence the S63 4MATIC+ characteristics and the S65 extensively. Each of the mentioned modes also modifies key parameters just like the engine response, suspension, steering, ESP, and transmission.

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Dynamic Select driving modes offer the drivers the option to tap the "M" button to switch directly to manual mode. It is where the gearshifts are executed exclusively with the use of paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Whenever required, the vehicle's suspension settings can be selected as well. As to the 3-stage ESP and exhaust flap, it can also be switched with a special AMG button.

According to the Mercedes-AMG GmbH Chairman of the Managing Board, Tobias Moers, "With the S63, we additionally took a major development step that supports our leadership claim in the areas of driving dynamics, performance, traction, equipment and demonstrative comfort. The S65 with its high-torque 6.0-litre V-12 Biturbo engine remains the spearhead of the S-Class models" This just means that everyone can expect the model to come with impressive power, torque, and driving performance on the road.

Meanwhile, depending on the driving mode selected, the springing condition can be set to comfortable or sporty that will suit different personal preferences of the drivers. The car's active suspension adequately compensates body roll, squat, and dive when moving off the line specifically in curves and during braking.
