Honda CR-V is easily one of the world's most beloved crossover. Many may even become fans as it was recently unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show for being Honda's latest hybrid. Honda also took advantage of this auspicious event to announce that the hybrid crossover will be making its way to the U.S.

The Honda CR-V Hybrid will be utilizing Honda's "Sport Hybrid" two-motor hybrid system. It also has gone through a redesign. With this, it is expected to rake in more sales for Honda. Not only that, it will also play a significant role in boosting its corporate average level of fuel economy data.

The CR-V Hybrid is also expected to possess the same system as that of Accord Hybrid's. This means that it can produce 212-horsepower because of its 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and electric motor. It also is reported to have some similarities to Koenigsegg Regera hypercar. However, this is not to suggest that the CR-V Hybrid or Accord came come anywhere close to Koenigsegg as it belongs to a league of its own.

The latest Honda hybrid is expected to compete, neck-and-neck with the Nissan Rogue and Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. With the CR-V Hybrid competing against other Japanese greats, it may then be considered the ultimate battle of Japanese hybrids. To determine which one is better may be a daunting task.

Honda has yet to release official word if the Honda CR-V Hybrid will also be released in other markets. However, the possibility of it being seen and driven in different parts of the world may be highly likely to happen. At least for now, North American and Chinese consumers have something to look forward to. Hybrids are really making its presence felt, and CR-V Hybrid is one great addition.

As for the Chinese Honda CR-V Hybrid, it may well be the same as its North American counterpart. However, there may be few changes to specifically cater to the needs and demands of the Chinese market.
