2019 Chevrolet Silverado: It Will Now Be More Rigid And Lighter

The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado has been caught having its test drive for a few times. The last 2014 model that Chevrolet has released already has an older architecture and is starting to age. The 2018 model will bring a new Silverado with modern technology added.

Chevrolet will surely have its upgrades to be one of the best machines available soon in the market. The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado's strong competitors are Ford f-150, GMC Sierra 1500, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra, and Nissan Titan.

Chevrolet provides a shed weight to the all-new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado for the sake of its fuel efficiency. Most of the body structure and the materials used are new. It utilizes a variety of materials and manufacturing technologies to trim the trucks weight while most of the running gear will come up with a new chassis. Though the 2014 model has an impressive design, the 2019 model is also expected to come the same.

Under the hood of the upcoming Chevrolet Silverado comes with a pair of base engines which is an updated variant of the truck's 4.3-liter V-6 just like the 2014 model, and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The last option is intentionally designed to help boost the vehicle's overall fuel efficiency since this is one of the important criteria that drivers usually look for when buying a truck. The two engines utilize the General Motors (GM) eight-speed automatic transmission.

The car's petrol engines have the ability to develop a 350 to 450 horsepower and more than 400 pound-feet of torque. The diesel delivers over 250 horsepower while using it with up to 25% less fuel than its petrol counterpart. The new chassis will easily allow the driver to swap the parts between the two that are usually essential.

Expect the Silverado to have its debut at the 2018 Detroit auto show in January, and the sales will be kicking off by summer of the same year. The starting price is estimated to range between $28,880 to $60,000.
