The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is reported to be the world's fastest and most powerful SUV. It showcased all of its glory at the 2017 New York Auto Show. It shared its excellent and impressive features enough to leave enthusiasts and experts in awe.
The show started with the introduction of Mike Manley, Jeep boss and on his sides were huge video screens. The video screens showed a Trackhawk strapped tightly to a four-wheel dyno which showed its powerful capacity and capability. This is definitely an extremely exciting and satisfying scene to watch as it showed its horsepower in extreme action.
That video demonstration, however, had its fair share of skeptics. This was immediately addressed by Jeep spokesperson Dan Reid by saying that the engine was definitely running and the wheels spinning on the true four-wheel dyno. He then continued on by saying that the stock 850-watt under-hood cooling fan worked seamlessly to keep it cool.
The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has room for five adults which makes it ideal for smaller families. The Trackhawk can both serve its purpose for transporting everyone blissfully around the city like a meek lamb and roaring like an untamed, rampaging beast as it accelerates from zero to 60 mph in just 3.5-seconds!
It also has 7,200-pound towing capacity and an excellent cooling system for its 707-horsepower Hellcat engine. This may well be the most powerful and fastest SUV, however, Tesla could disagree because of its Model X. The Model X, which can be considered a crossover, can go zero to 60 mph in just 2.9-seconds.
Jeep engineers have spent the past few years figuring out how to effectively and efficiently incorporate a Hellcat engine into a Grand Cherokee. They have painstakingly done research to come up with an impressive piece enough to deliver an insane amount of power and speed. This has been realized in the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.
