Under an icy weather, a luxury 2019 Bentley Flying Spur sedan is spotted having a test. This car, as well as the Continental coupe and convertible of the next generation, are shifting from their current drive platform to the MSB component matrix for a rear and all-wheel drive vehicles.

The drive platform that Bentley is engaged to, is developed by Porsche. MSB made its debut with the second generation of Panamera. The said shifting won't only make the designer's task easier, but also, it will contribute handling benefits and a lighter car. Also, the company will also be using aluminum and high-strength steel that would make the vehicle even lighter than the current model which weighs 2475 kg.

This 2019 Bentley Flying Spur will also come wider than the Panamera's measurement of 1937 mm with its bolt-on temporary wheel arch extensions. This prototype also comes with an excellent long set of rear doors and lengthened roof line. It is also said that the Flying Spur has a longer wheelbase than Panamera Executive that has 5199mm overall length and 3100mm of wheelbase. In terms of future styling, the car's front fascia closely follows the concept overall from the body shape to its interior and under the hood system.

The vehicle will still keep VW's unique turbocharged W12 engine. Just recently, it was revised for Bentayga and now delivers a 608 of horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. As to the current Flying Spur, it can go up to 625 hp, for the upcoming one, everyone can expect a bigger figure to be squeezed from the said engine.

The brand also offers a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine that can deliver 507 of horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque. The 2019 Bentley Flying Spur is expected to hit the market with a bit higher price from the current model's figure of $191,000. This model is primarily developed for the US and China.
