Surface Pro 4 Offered At Its Cheapest On Amazon; Minor Surface Pro 5 Details Released?

There were a lot of instances that saw the price of the Surface Pro 4 cut in the past few months. It is again going on discount with retail giant Amazon dropping the price of the device's Core i5 model down to only $730.

Pro 4 on discount again, slashed off the price of Core i5 model at its lowest. Amazon new discounted price for the Core i5 model of the Pro 4 hits rock bottom. This move by the American online retail giant seems to be an attempt to outdo competitors.

The Core i5 Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a whole lot cheaper than the Redmond-based tech giant's direct price, $270 cheaper to be exact. The discounted price is even lower than its discounted price during the holidays which was $799.

The device doesn't come packed with a type cover but it does come with a Surface Pen. The Type Cover is being sold by Amazon at $98 and just like the Pro 4, is cheaper than Microsoft's price by $31.

Amazon doesn't have an expiration date on the current Pro 4 deal offered. This, however, does not mean that it will last long since such a good deal will help inventory quickly fly off the shelves.

With the Pro 4 continuously being offered at discounted prices and with the recent one being the cheapest, this could mean the launch of the Pro 5 is possibly just around the corner. Although Microsoft continuous to be quiet about its next-generation 2-in-1 device, famous technology blogger and journalist Paul Thurrot tweeted that it will still sport the same Surface Connect power connector and will run on the Kaby Lake processor as speculated

Thurrot's tweet came on April 6 and reads, "Surface Pro 5 will not change the Surface Connect power connector, I was just told. Kaby Lake, nothing dramatic". Stay tuned for more updates!
