Naruto's Death In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations; Take Aways from The New Series' Episode 1

After the successful run of the Naruto Shippuden series, fans are still eager to know what the fate of Naruto will be in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Fans are still wondering where all this fuss is coming from and whether or not there is a truth to this issue. Now that the first episode of the new series was shown, are there any takeaways that might lead to this conclusion?

For those who haven't watched the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations pilot episode, it's premiere started with a glimpse of what is about to come. It's a scene in the future episode where both Kawaki and Boruto are all grown up. The background shows the ruins of the city. It's as dark and dusty rubble where Kawaki and Boruto face each other.

Naruto's son, Boruto said that he didn't expect Kawaki will go that far. This gives the viewers a hint that Kawaki is to blame for the destruction of the city of Konoha. The most interesting part was when Kawaki answered back saying that he will send Boruto to where he sent the seventh Hokage. Naruto fans know very well that Naruto is the seventh Hokage.

Kawaki even added that the "age of Shinobi is over" while the background showed the completely destroyed Hokage Rock. Boruto seemed unfazed by this and wore the Sasuke Uchiha's ninja looking headband. It also showed the lead character activating a new ocular jutsu before he clashes with Kawaki. The introduction ended with that scene and went on to continue with the storyline.

This scenes from the introduction made Naruto fans wonder what Kawaki actually meant when he said he's sending Boruto to where he sent Naruto (seventh Hokage). That is a very intriguing statement. It left a mark in the viewers' mind that Naruto had died prior to that scene. But the question is, "how can that be?" Fans know too well how great Naruto Uzumaki is. How can Kawaki destroy someone as Naruto and what powers does he possess to destroy the city?

Surely, the makers knew how to keep the viewers interested as the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations episodes unfold in this series, especially with that explosive introduction. The first episode depicts on Boruto meeting Denki, the heir of Kaminarimon Corporation in an unusual setting.

Boruto saved Denki from bullies who are trying to steal from him. They later learned that they are both hesitant to attend the Ninja Academy.

The story progresses as evil dark shadow possessed Denki because of his vulnerability. He went to attack the bullies by crashing the train that he lured them into. But good thing Boruto was there to save the day. He even saw the evil force in Denki through his ocular jutsu. Eventually, the evil dark force left Denki and they were able to make it on their first day in the Ninja academy.

It was a fun and exciting premiere episode. It shows what kind of character Boruto has. Still stubborn like his father but there is still that ninja in him that cares for others. Surely, Naruto fans will keep tuned into the next Boruto: Naruto Next Generation episode.
