Snapchat Search Tool: Want To Have More Fans? Now Even More Possible!

Snapchat is one of the most popular and most used app the world over. With the Snapchat search tool, it is expected to be even more popular and liked. It enables to submit videos and photo stories and be searched to increase the number of following and presence.

Snap Inc. is using information in posts like text and visual elements to display relevant ones in searches. However, these posts will only be made searchable when users decide to make it public under "Our Story," an option users get when choosing who gets to see their posts.

It is the first search tool since Snapchat has been launched. It is also the first new product since its initial public offering earlier in March. The Snapchat search tool is an important component in the applications competition as Facebook Inc. is reported to be slowly cloning some of its important features.

What's even more interesting, Snapchat will also be introducing interesting more products faster than Facebook. Snapchat first launched its basic stories feature back in Oct. 2013 and following this release, Facebook offered a version of it in Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger.

According to Brian Fitzgerald, an analyst at Jefferies, Snap is still the leading innovator and Facebook is doing its best to catch up. The competition is definitely far from over as both will endlessly try to outdo each other. While Snapchat continues to be the leading app of its kind, Facebook Inc. may slowly inch its way closer to the lead by getting inspiration with creations of Snap Inc.

Snap also said in a recent blog post that a good number of snaps added to "Our Story" inspired them to create something new. With the overwhelming number of entries in "Our Story," it has inspired them to offer something that would make it more interesting to millions of users worldwide.

The Snapchat search tool is definitely one of the innovations and is sure to be followed soon. Snap Inc. is relentless in innovating, providing more features and updates to its loyal users. The competition between Snapchat and Facebook is considered healthy as both are the best in its own right.
