Windows 10 Creators Update To Roll Out On April 11

Windows 10 users will soon be able to know what Microsoft has been busily working on in the past months. The Redmond-based tech giant has announced that its Creators Update will be rolled out beginning April 11.

Windows 10 Creators Update to roll out on April 11. Talking about the upcoming major Windows 10 update in a blog post, Microsoft said, "The Creators Update is designed to spark and unleash creativity, bringing 3D and mixed reality to everyone and enabling every gamer to be a broadcaster. Beyond creativity, it brings new features to Microsoft Edge, additional security capabilities and privacy tools, and so much more."

The update will bring to Windows 10 users a more aesthetically engaging operating system. Some features of the update include Mixed Reality where users get expanded access to 3D tools and other mixed reality applications. Users will also be treated to Beam which allows gamers to share their experiences across the Windows 10 and Xbox One platforms.

The update also brings Windows Hello, a feature that allows a desktop or laptop to pair with an iPhone, Android smartphone, or a Windows Phone. A paired mobile device can assist Windows Hello to determine if a user has stepped away from a PC and automatically locks it for security purposes.

Windows 10 Parental Controls will be expanded on with the upcoming update. The expansion will allow parents to manage their children's time in front of a PC or an Xbox One as well as generate weekly reports to review a user's computer and gaming activities.

Edge will be greatly improved on with the update as well. The web browser will now be able to deliver better management features with opened tabs which are designed to do away with the clutter and tabs unexpectedly closing. Microsoft also mentioned that with the update, Edge is safer and a lot more secure.
