Kia is never known for its fast cars. But the company is planning to change that with its 2018 Kia Stinger that can go from 0-62 mph in 4.9 seconds.

This upcoming Kia Sport Sedan comes with a 365-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V-6 engine, enabling the car to accelerate with ease. This can actually be compared to an 8-speed automatic and a rear-wheel drive setup.

The new speed of the 2018 Kia Stinger is faster than its initial target speed of 0-62 mph at 5.1 seconds. This was announced in the Stinger's Korean launched that took place at the 2017 Seoul Auto Show.

The car was launched with its new yellow color variation. It was also shown with a carbon fiber pack that is made up of lightweight material found on its grille surround, air intake and hood vents.

This may not be impressive with the speed of the cars on the market today. However, this is still a car that is way faster than previous generations of the Ford Mustang GT.

Aside from that, the 2018 Kia Stinger will also have a 255 horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine. Kia will also be offering a 197-hp turbocharged 2.2-liter inline-4 diesel.

The new Kia car also comes with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. It also comes with an in-house unit like the K900 sedan, including a pair of paddle shifters that is mounted behind the steering wheel.

The car also has a 114.4-inch wheelbase that is longer than Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and BMW. The 2018 Kia Stinger comes with a different look. Different from the ultra-compact rear-wheel sedan most people are familiar with.

There were also reports that claim that an all-wheel version of this Kia car is already in the works. Its front suspension is made of MacPherson struts with a multi-link setup.

The car comes with a V-G model that has four-piston front brakes. It also has adaptive dampers and drive select switch that can change the throttle and shift patterns. The 2018 Kia Stinger will be available for distribution later this year.
