Since Apple released iOS 6.1.3 for devices like the iPhone 4S, the iPhone 5, all modern iPads and iPods, the most popular jailbreak of all-time known as evasiOn has become obsolete. Apple was able to fix "4 out of 6" bugs that allowed the evad3rs to jailbreak the previous iOS simply because evasiOn was released.
The news that iOS 6.1.3 blocks evasiOn even if you already downloaded it to your phone was pretty upsetting to the near 20 million people that downloaded the tool alone since being released finally in February.
The new iOS also blocks anyone from bypassing an iPhone lockscreen using its emergency call function, allowing the user to make a call or gaining partial access to the phone's private data according to Forbes.
To make matters worse, Evad3rs member David Wang, also known as Planetbeing on Twitter, spoke with Forbes shortly after news broke out that iOS 6.1.3 would block evasiOn and said the team would probably wait until iOS 7 was released to try another jailbreak.

While this seemed reasonable, Evad3rs team member Joshua Hill, also known as pOsixninja on twitter, indicated this week that a solution for iOS 7 has already been found.
First Hill tweeted that the next jailbreak might be released by himself:
After receiving a number of Tweets asking him to clarify, Hill followed up the proclamation by saying he's found everything he needs in order to make a jailbreak for the next iOS.

Apple users will have to wait until the rumored iPhone 5 comes out sometime within the next six months or so to find out if Hill is legit or getting people excited over nothing. Based on his track record, and the fact that he was a part of the only team to successfully jailbreak the iPhone 5, it wouldn't be wise to bet against him.
