The much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may have been revealed a tad too soon. The phablet's schematics found its way online, revealing its key specs and design. It may be false, but many seem to believe that the leak is legit.

According to the schematics that were leaked in a Chinese website, the upcoming Note 8 will have similarities to the Galaxy S8 in terms of aesthetics. The previous leaks of the smartphone revealed a mostly-display front panel without a home button, which the phablet may also adapt.

Although it cannot be seen from the drawing, ValueWalk reported that the Galaxy Note 8 will have a curved display like that of the Note 7, which is now discontinued. The image also reveals the location of the speaker, the sensor, the front-facing camera and what might be the iris sensor.

The headphone jack that was taken out by Apple in its latest offerings in a controversial move is present in the Galaxy Note 8 schematics. Along with it is a USB Type-C port, a slot for the S-Pen and some buttons.

However, it is worth noting that the design might not make it to the final product. The schematics do not necessarily show what the final design is going to look like, so the leak is best taken with a grain of salt.

Meanwhile, the leak may have also revealed the specs. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 might have a 4K display and 6GB RAM, both of which corroborate previous rumors, The Droid Review reported. Also as expected, the next phablet by the South Korean company might be offered with up to 256GB of internal memory.

That is about everything that was revealed in the latest leak. Rumors indicate, however, that it will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 under the hood and the Bixby personal assistant. More news of the Galaxy Note 8's release date should come in the coming months.
