All-New 2018 Mitsubishi Grand Lancer: Will Target China And Other Asian Markets

Although the Lancer has been already sentenced to death in the Asian markets, Mitsubishi seems not giving up on its trusted model in other regions. The new 2018 Mitsubishi Grand Lancer is launching in the markets of Taiwan, China, and other selected Asian markets.

The Grand Lancer is the re-skinned version of "Our" Lancer, with its new bodywork featuring the automaker's newest Dynamic Shield front grille, a boomerang-like crease on the sides and a pointer rear end. The company's designers have given a rear window a little uptick and scalloped out a C-shaped section from the doors and fenders.

The fresh design is also prominent in the rear thanks to its Boomerang-style- rear-view tail lamp similar to its rival, the Honda Civic 2016. Behind the sporty design, the Sport version will have a fixed wing.

The cabin also gets a brand new layout, with the dashboard looking to be made out of softer-to-touch materials that are decorated with silver details for a more premium look. The new 2018 Mitsubishi Grand Lancer will likewise have a 10.2-inch all-computerized instrument board, an 8-inch touch screen prepared infotainment framework, and a three-talked multi-work controlling haggle turning around camera. Inside the entryway boards are new for the Grand Lancer, so is a rigging selector.

Under the hood, only a 1.8-liter petrol engine is being offered that produces 138 hp and 172 Nm of extreme torque. The new model is available with a sole transmission option which comes equipped with a CVT gearbox that sends the power to the front axle. Also available is a manual mode with six pre-selected ratios and paddle shifter on the wheel as an option.

The standard wellbeing of the new 2018 Mitsubishi Grand Lancer will incorporate seven airbags, body dynamic soundness framework, crisis brake cautioning framework, mischance cautioning framework and much more.
