The new Bentley Continental GT has been caught by spy cameras. It seems that the car has broken away from the usual shades and is displaying a blue hue. Usually, the prototypes are painted black and not in any other colors. The camouflage that the car donned is brilliant and this includes the faux light covers.
When looked upon closely, odd lumpy portions are revealed. This indicates that these areas are that do not follow the lines of the car. The actual height of the front and rear fenders will be a bit lower and more understated than how it appears with the camouflage.
It seemed that it can be easily guessed that the traditional quad lamps were hidden underneath the covers. What added to the confusion was that the true shape of the taillights was also obscured. It does not seem like a slight deviation. It seems that the new taillights are slim. They seem to be partial oval units and relatively thinner. The shape is revealed through the camouflage only when the lights are illuminated, reported Auto Blog.
There are some more details that were revealed through the camouflage. The car seems to sport a retractable rear spoiler. The car also seems to be faux body panels covering the front and rear fenders.
It is revealed that the car will use the Panamera platform. The buyers will have two options to choose from in case they choose the Bentley. The new car will likely be offered with 8- and 12-cylinder engines.
When the pictures of the car were revealed earlier, it was shown that there is a convertible version that is also in the making. What is expected is that it will be released around the same time as the car. The convertible will most likely be released immediately after the coupe.
