Fully redesigned for this year, the 2017 Subaru Impreza is available as a compact sedan and hatchback. Well known for its roomy interior, the automaker has moved the wheels even further apart to put on additional space in the cabin.

The all-new 2017 Subaru Impreza is completely redesigned and underpins on a new platform. It's wider, longer and lower, and it features a fresh look on the exterior. Other highlights will include a larger interior, a more powerful powertrain, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a lot of brand new safety features.
The new Impreza comes in 2.0i base, Premium, Sport and Limited trim levels. The base model has enough equipment to be considered more than just a common transport, but the Premium, Sport and Limited models hold the game for the automaker.
The base 2.0i is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 152 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque that is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Other features come standard such as 16-inch steel wheels, cloth upholstery, power windows, cloth upholstery, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen with Android and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
For the Premium trim level, it's a bit better equipped compared to the standard model. It gets the CVT as standard, 16-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, automatic headlights, Subaru Starlink services, and windshield and exterior mirrors.
Premium Impreza hatchback also has standard roof rails. It also adds more available features such as power sunroof, blind-spot monitoring, steering-responsive fog lights, and rear cross-traffic alert.
The Limited trim level gets most of the Sport's trim's tech equipment and 17-inch alloy wheels, a six-way power driver seat, leather upholstery, and automatic climate control. Other options for this trim level include a Harman Kardon premium audio system, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and reverse automatic braking are also available.
The price of the 2017 Subaru Impreza will depend on the trim level. The base 2.0i will cost $19,215, and Premium goes up to $22,015. The Sports trim level will cost $23,315, and Limited will start at $25,415.
