BMW M4 Convertibles are not exactly known for customization. The open-top configuration of this luxury car is impressive enough for most users to keep its stock setting. Nevertheless, this did not deter the owner of an M4 Convertible to throw in some customized wheels to his unit, and it is nothing short of amazing.
The BMW M4 Convertible is equipped with a set of Vossen VPS-314T forged directional concave wheels. The new wheelset not only adds a touch of luxury to the convertible, it also fits with the overall design perfectly.
The Vossen-equipped BMW M4 Convertible is sure to break some neck wherever it goes. According to BMW Blog, the two front wheels measure 20x8.5, while the two in the rear measure 20x10.5. The blood red wheel paint also complements and blends perfectly well with the Mineral Gray color of the BMW M4. The bright red paint gives an impressive contrast to the metallic body paint.
The BMW M4 Convertible packs the same powertrain with its coupe siblings. The forced induction 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine delivers power to the rear wheels. The convertible can be configured with an optional Dual Clutch Transmission system for quick gear changes.
The BMW M4 Convertible engine packs 425-horsepower and 406lb-ft of torque. This massive engine power allows the luxury convertible to accelerate from zero to 62mph in just 4.1 seconds. Sadly, the car is equipped with an electric speed limiter which limits the top speed to 155mph. It is quite a beauty to see this luxury car take the track with its speed limited completely turned off.
At this year's Geneva Motor Show, the German automaker unveiled the BMW M4 Facelift. The new iteration of the M4 packs quite a handful of design changes, as well as upgrades under the hood.
