Recent trademark filings by luxury car manufacturer Lexus suggest that an LC F may soon be coming. The vehicle could possibly be unveiled at this year's Tokyo Auto Show.

Lexus LC F could debut at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Show. According to auto website Car and Driver, the LC F is a high-performance vehicle that will sport a new 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine based off the current 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine.  The new engine is designed to look like two inline-4 engines with one crank and both angled at 90 degrees and could possibly make its way to a future model of the GS F but as a less powerful version.

The new engine is said to produce 600 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. This would make the LC F more powerful than its intended rivals such as the Porsche 911 Turbo S and the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe despite the vehicle's lower torque.

According to Car and Driver, the LC F will sport hood vents as well as side and rear vents, a fix rear wing, air ducts for brake cooling, and an aggressive front splitter. It will have a 20-inch wheel in high-performance rubber.

Other features of the vehicle include a tuned version of the LC500's 10-speed automatic transmission, uprated brakes, and track-tuned suspension. The design of its body kit could be based off the one on the LC GT500 Super GT. It is speculated that the vehicle will comprise of a lot of carbon fiber to be as lightweight as possible.

Currently, high-performance flagship of Lexus is the LC500. It sports a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine from the RC F and GS F that has an output of 468 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. The luxury car manufacturer claims that the LC500 is able to from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.5 seconds.
