According to BGR, a senior supply chain with knowledge of one Canadian cell carrier's plans has confirmed that pre-orders will be shipped out to Canada on April 28, 2017. This then confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be launched in the U.S. on the said date the latest, before Canada.
Since there is no official news regarding its launch by Samsung, good numbers of leaks then lead to interesting developments on its features and specs. Its display size/screen size is reportedly more improved for having less bezel which means the screen will be more utilized. Adding to more utilized screen size is the alleged removal of button on the front. This contributes to the size of the screen without changing the smaller size of the entire device.
The iris scanner is also expected to make its debut in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. Finger scanner is a thing of the past (though it will still be part of the device located beside the rear-facing camera) as this device will have this technology borrowed from the Note 7.
