2018 Audi RS3: Extreme For Its 400-Hp And Especially Designed For The US! America, Welcome The RS3 Next Year!

The 2018 Audi RS3 is definitely packed with power and is considered one of the most exciting hatchbacks to grace the US soil. There were quite a number of vehicles released all over the world except in the U.S, so it is great news especially for car enthusiasts that the RS3 will be made available in the US.

According to CNET, the 2018 Audi RS3 will be one of the most powerful and fastest hatchbacks ever as it can produce a total of 400-horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. Its 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine is responsible for such excellent performance. Adding to its notoriety as a fast ride, it can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 4.1 minutes and can reach its top speed of 174 mph.

These numbers may somehow be impossible for a compact sedan, but not for the 2018 Audi RS3. It comes with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission as standard as well as the Quattro AWD. Contributing to its speed, the 2018 RS3 is much lower compared to the standard A3. It is also wider and features the flared fenders and aggressive front splitter that is expected.

It seemed that Audi went all out with this beast of a compact sedan. Audi also splurged in its interior technology by including the latest flavor of MMI, which is fully supported by Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is also an optional Audi Virtual Cockpit system which replaces the dashboard gauges enabling the driver to display a central tachometer together with g-meter and specific tire pressures.

What's even more interesting is that the 2018 Audi RS3 is actually designed for the US. Americans are sure to be treated with the best performing compact sedan as it officially gets released. It is great because not only will the RS3 be available in the US, it is specifically made for it!

As added by Car and Driver, the 2018 Audi RS3 has some serious impressive cosmetic upgrades which is definitely easily stand out. The front boasts of a deeper bumper with additional air intakes and the word QUATTRO in letters along the bottom of the grille surround. The 19-inch wheels are also a standard. Not to be outdone, the rear also gets an upgrade as it features two tail pipes, lip spoiler on the trunk lid, and a diffuser.

The 2018 Audi RS3 is also 57 pounds lighter than the outgoing model. As it is lower, being significantly lighter translates to better engine performance which contributes to its insane speed. This is certainly a huge factor for having 33-horsepower more over the old five.

Much has been said and excitement build up is at its ultimate high, but the question remains, when will it ever be available in the US? Well, the wait may not be too long as US deliveries of 2018 Audi RS3 will commence next year. There is no official news, however, it should be ready by the first quarter.

Pricing for the 2018 Audi RS3 is also not available, however, it is expected to be a little pricey compared to all other hatchbacks/compact sedan. This powerful ride is expected to retail around $50,000 range. Yes, this is mighty expensive but it will surely be worth it.
