Windows 10 Creators Update soon to hit RTM stage for mid-April launch target. Microsoft's Creators Update for its Windows 10 operating system is rolling out soon. One particular sign that it is definitely going to is the number of builds rapidly coming to users but with fewer features every time.
The Creators Update is aimed at creative individuals and is expected to bring with it enhanced 3D support and better Windows Ink functionality. It is also expected to improve the experience of PC gaming.
According to the website Windows Central, the Redmond-based tech giant is close to signing off the first RTM builds of the Creators Update this week. The builds will be rolled out to Windows 10 users who are part of the Windows Insiders program first.
Feedback given to the company from these users will be used to determine the build that will be official release version of the Creators Update. That build will be the one rolled out to all other users of the Windows 10 operating system.
Microsoft is reported looking at April 11 launch date for the Windows 10 Creators Update which will be only for a select few Windows 10 devices. Windows Central said, "To avoid mass upgrade issues, the company rolls out feature updates in waves, first targeting a selection of whitelisted devices." The website further added that the company will "eventually opening the floodgates to everyone once it's clear that there aren't any major upgrade issues taking place."
It is expected that Microsoft will continue working on patches of the update even if it has already been tagged as RTM. The patches will then roll out as Zero Day patches on the public release of the Creators Update RTM build.
