It is reported that a beautiful prototype of Tesla Model 3 was found cruising right next to SpaceX's hyperloop test track in Hawthorne. The vehicle has not entered production yet. But, Tesla Model 3 does not fail to make appearances at events.
It is not usual for the Tesla Model 3 to make a lot of public appearances. However, after the car was unveiled in April 2016, there are few instances when the car was spotted cruising in the streets or at events.
In November, a few pictures of the car was captured which revealed how the car's pedals will look. In January, the car made an appearance at the Gigafactory during an investor event, reported Inverse.
The Model 3 which is priced is priced at $35,000 is meant to sizzle in the mass market. Most-awaited Tesla Model 3 was seen at SpaceX's hyperloop test track. Unplugged Performance, a Hawthorne-based company that produces upgrades for Tesla vehicles, spotted the prototype cruising the streets of California.
There is still many things that are unknown about the Model 3. Many specifications of the car are not yet revealed. It was reported that the car will have only one computer and screen, instead of the two found in the Model S and Model X.
The models that were used for demonstration reveals one screen above the central console. The position of the instrument cluster is not revealed at all. Also, it is unclear where the speedometer will be placed. Some speculate that the instrument panel could be placed on the central unit. There are other opinions that it could have a basic LED-based setup on the driver's side. There will be many more details that will be revealed once the production begins, reported Yahoo.
The SpaceX hyperloop track recently hosted a pod design competition. The competition invited contestants to design vehicles suitable for the tube-shaped train system of the future.
Elon Musk had also toyed with an idea that involved a vacuum-sealed hyperloop track that could support speeds of up to 700 miles per hour. However, Tesla Model 3 will not support that range of speeds. At the same time, it will pave way for an electric vehicle future.
