2018 Nissan Leaf's Roomy Interior and Bigger Batterries; Best Electric Car for City Driving

The 2018 Nissan Leaf will be the second generation of the brand. Introduced 2010, it is the oldest electric car manufactured.

With the prediction that 40 percent of cars sales in 20 years will be electric, Nissan is trying early to get the bigger slice of the pie. Under the Trump's administration reduction of emission, it would be better to start early in complying with the rules.

The 2018 Nissan Leaf roomy interior makes it the perfect electric vehicle to go around town comfortably. In a review made by Car and Driverit said that its 30 KW battery is best for slow driving around the community.

It has a respectable acceleration rate of 10.4 seconds from 0-60 miles per hour. Its power plant can produce a 107 HP that can easily reach its max speed of 93 miles per hour. A single charge of its battery pack can give you 101 miles in the urban area and up to 124 miles on the highway.

In other news, Electrek reports that the 2018 Nissan Leaf would have other options for car buyers. The car manufacturer has updated its engine to a 60 KW power plant. The best thing about the bigger battery is a longer range in per charge. It aims to reach more than 200 miles per charge.

Aside from a bigger battery pack, its design will also be refreshed. A new feature called driver assist will be installed for safety purposes. This safety feature is comparable to Tesla's autopilot. Priced at $35,000.00, it is expected to be more affordable and compete directly with the prices of its other rival electric cars.
