There are only a few South Korean cars that become famous in the European market. One of these is the SsangYong Rexton model which was known in Dutch roads. In September of last year, it was announced during the 2016 Paris Auto Show that the LIV- 2 Concept would be installed into the future SsangYong Rexton model. On its performance, the car will is powered by a 2.2-L diesel engine which can generate 181 hp. And 420 Nm of torque. Moreover, it will have a six-speed manual transmission and seven-speed automatic transmission similar to the Mercedes-Benz brand.

In other news, Auto Express reported that the rival of the vehicle would be the Nissan Qashqai. The later will be available in Europe during the summer, but the Rexton itself will be available for purchase this coming September. On the other hand, the 2017 SsangYong Korando also received a facelift like its brother. The changes made were to its exterior that became more prominent due to the improved grille design and headlights.

Moreover, it was installed with new lenses that featured the LED daytime running lights, along with the 180-in. Alloy wheels. Judging by the internal changes, the vehicle had a brand new steering wheel, front to end safety camera and rear-view camera, and the TomTom navigation system, not a new feature of the brand.

The SsangYong Rexton may have been considered as an old man's vehicle nowadays, but it proved itself right. When spy photos caught a glimpse of it, several technological features, performance upgrades, and improved exterior and interior designs were apparent.
