Hyundai is taking the further steps towards its support of hydrogen fuel cells when it decided to put forward a new hydrogen-powered CUV or SUV to replace the Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell. True to its words, Hyundai gave a sneak peek into the Future Eco (FE) Fuel Cell Concept at the Geneva Motor Show.

The FE's hydrogen fuel cell technology towers over the Tucson Fuel Cell. It is more efficient and at the same time, much lighter. It has a fuel cell stack with 30 percent greater energy density. This ensures that the car has more range, reported Auto Blog.

The driving range gives the vehicle a cut above the rest. "We have designed the car to run the longest distance ever achieved by a fuel cell vehicle," says Hyundai Vice Chairman Dr. Woong-Chul Yang. "It'll go about 500 miles on a full tank of hydrogen, which is especially helpful while fueling stations are still few and far between," he added.

The FE Fuel Cell is exactly what a concept car should look like. It is revealed that the clean, flowing look is inspired by water. When water is mentioned, it can be stated that the car emits only water. The large wheels of the vehicle are pushed to the corners and the car has a very strong demure, reported Green Car Reports.

The FE Fuel Cell has some aerodynamic touches made which makes the car look efficient. Not only that, it gives a fresh appeal as the design looks good.

The car, on the inside, has an internal air humidifier. This works by recycling the water that is emitted by the car. The portable battery packs for powering passenger devices is also one of the highlights of the vehicle.

It is expected that the FE Fuel Cell Concept will be brought to life in an SUV. The production is set to begin in early 2018.
