Tokyo Ghoul Season 3 has been long overdue to all fans and its anime community. The hit dark anime series creator, Viz Media keeps details in closed doors or holds nothing at all. It was 2015 when Funimation circulated hints that the hit anime series will grace everyone's TV screens on 2016. Now, 2017 is in its third month, and what fans have gotten was a new mobile game rather than the anime itself.

A huge headline rekindles the fans hopes for Tokyo Ghoul Season 3. In an interview with Viz Media Senior Director of Sales and Marketing, Kevin Hamric, Tokyo Ghoul Season 3 is indeed final and ready to come out for its most awaited release. Hamric also discussed the release of another hit anime series One Punch Man Season 2.

As expected, the interview once again says "later this year." This statement from anime series creators and medias have gotten fans accustomed to a false hope dimension resulting to either a Yes or No. Nonetheless, the entire Tokyo Ghoul community felt the excitement and anticipation for the anime series.

But, only days had passed when Anime News Network cross speculated the headline announced by Viz Media. According to the source, Hamric misspoke Tokyo Ghoul Season 3 instead of My Hero Academia during the interview. This speculation was later than confirmed by Viz Media themselves saying indeed Hamric announced a wrong information.

Now, fans are once again taken aback to the same stint Funimation did last 2015. Of course, it is utterly painful to accept knowing fans have been waiting for this announcement from Tokyo Ghoul's creators and medias since the anime series bid farewell in 2015.
