In Europe, a five-door hatchback from the Korean multinational conglomerate, Hyundai, is the popular car for decades now. Today, the company is bringing the European experience in the U.S with their 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT and GT Sport.

The new upgrades or changes made to this 2018 model is the chassis that is fully revised and is now stiffer and lighter than ever before. This change is expected to have a higher acceleration, better handling, and economy.

For this new Elantra GT, the front suspension goes for a rear axle design that is budget minded. According to the company, this GT, and its sibling, the GT Sports went on calibration on the toughest test tracks in the world.

Buyers would always want a big space area on the interior with rear seats that can be folded down, so Hyundai provides these things both on the 2018 Elantra GT and GT Sports. In addition, it also showcases the brand's service, the Blue Link Assistance.

Cars today have an infotainment system with good working system and this GT also does. It comes with an 8 inches screen with an upgraded operating software version which makes it now faster compared before. In addition, drivers or owners will enjoy the HD-radio-based traffic data and the subscription-less.

For users of Amazon Alexa, the Blue Link Assistance can be added to be utilized as a command and skill to start the car and as a heater activator. It can also be used in rear and mirror defroster with a voice power.

According to Hyundai, the EPA will sort this GT into the car category since it has a big space on the inside. The 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT works with an inline 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that can go for up to 162 of horsepower with a torque of 150 lb-ft. It will also come with a manual six-speed transmission and an optional automatic transmission in six-speed.
