Bugatti Chiron: The Best Super Car in its Own Class

The Bugatti Chiron will be prominently displayed next week at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. A class on its own, it is expected to outrun all other competitors when it hits the road.

Bugatti will present its latest supercar that would be rolled out soon. The Bugatti Chiron would be one of the highlights of the prestigious motor show that showcases the most amazing cars to date.

Unveiled just a year ago during the 2016 Paris Motor Show, the hypercar manufacturer will only make 500 pieces of the new model. Modestly priced at $2,700,000.00 its 250th order has already been confirmed. Europe, North America, and the Middle East are the main market for the said vehicle. A car designed for a customer will be used to showcase the vehicle during the event.

According to Top Gear, the Bugatti Chiron is a class on its own. It will be powered by a 1,500 HP, 8.0 liter, 16 cylinder monster engine. Its 4 wheel drive, 7-speed automatic gear shift can make it run up to 261 miles per hour. It could accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 2.6 seconds. With such acceleration, the Bugatti Chiron is considered to be the fastest car on the road. Fuel consumption is estimated at 35.2 liters in the city and 15.2 liters for every 100 km on the highway.

After several months of testing and assembling, only 3 Bugatti Chiron will be delivered to their owners just in time for the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The assembly process is so rigid that it would take almost half a year from ordering the first part to rolling out the car from the production floor.

The Verge reported that it is the only way to meet its production standard. Even though testing has not even started yet, the Bugatti Chiron already half way sold out on its target. The company estimates that it can only finish 70 cars in a year's time. To complete its 500 car production quota, it would take up to 2024 to wrap it all up.
