Apple Rolls Outs Fourth Beta Version of iOS 10.3 to Developers; To Incluede A 'Find My Airpods' Feature And More

Tech giant Apple has recently released the fourth beta of the company's upcoming iOS 10.3 update. The beta version of the mobile operating system was released to developers a week after seeding the third beta of the update. The iOS 10.3 is expected to be the next major update to be released by Apple following its rollout of the iOS 10.2 about two months ago.

Developers who have signed up for the beta program can now download the fourth beta of the iOS 10.3 update from the Apple Developer Center, or through an over-the-air method given that they have properly configured their profile.

One of the nifty features introduced with the fourth beta of the iOS 10.3 update is the one that solves the problem of misplaced AirPods. The new beta has a new feature appropriately called "Find My AirPods." Once used, the feature will show the known location of the AirPods when it was last connected through Bluetooth. The feature can also trigger the loss AirPod to play a sound to make it easier to locate, according to Mac Rumors.

According to 9 to 5 Mac, the new beta of iOS 10.3 will also introduce Wi-Fi Calling for iCloud connected devices for Verizon customers. There is also the inclusion of a new 32-bit alert, something that sparked speculations about the possibility of 64-bit only alerts on the iOS 11 operating system.

The fourth beta version of iOS 10.3 also includes a handful of optimization for Apple CarPlay. The app now has a new quick access feature from songs in the Music screen. There is also the integration of 3D Touch to Weather data in the Maps app. A fix for malfunctioning Lightning Video Adapters has been added to the latest beta version of the upcoming iOS update.
