America's Best-selling Crossover: The 2017 Cadillac XT5

Cadillac has released an impressive crossover this year with the 2017 Cadillac XT5. This car is gaining popularity and winning the hearts of Americans, with General Motors claiming that it is becoming America's fastest selling car.

Kelley Blue Book mentioned that this is "the replacement for Cadillac's SRX Sports utility." With regards to price, it is tied against Lexus RX, Mercedes GLC and Audi Q5 who falls in the same category but is much smaller than this vehicle.

It looks like it will surpass the popularity of the 2004 Cadillac SRX considering the specifications and features the 2017 Cadillac XT5 has. It's easy to say that it will give a good fight.

It has a starting price of $39,395 for the XT5 model and $47,795 for the XT5 Luxury model. Cadillac's loyal patrons will appreciate its chiseled exterior lines, spacious interior, and superior features.

Aside from its Panoramic Sun Roof which adds a more luxurious feel to the 2017 Cadillac XT5, this car has a great storage space that can accommodate up tp 62 cu ft. This is possible because of its Remote Fold-Down Rear Seats that can be adjusted accordingly depending on your need. It means you can bring more things when you go traveling.

According to Cadillac's website, this 3.6L luxury car is available in the Front Wheel or All Wheel Drive. It's powered by a V6 engine with Direct Injection and Variable Valve Timing. Although it took more than 10 years for Chevrolet to release SRX's successor, the wait is definitely worth it.

The 3.6L XT5 and 3.6L Luxury models both come in 8-speed Auto transmission, 4-wheel disc antilock vented brakes and EPA est Highway score of 27 MPG. One of the highlights of these cars is its Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control that is also available on both models. It also carries a Bose 8-seaker system, Power Rear Liftgate, Airbag with Passenger Sensing, Rear Child Security, Electric Parking Brake, Rear Vision Camera, Tire Pressure Monitoring system and a lot more.

According to GM Authority, the 2017 Cadillac XT5 sales went up to 46 percent last February and grew 49.3 percent this year. Indeed, this car is becoming America's best-selling luxury crossover.
