Chevrolet recently introduced the newest addition to the Camaro family, the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE at the Daytona International Speedway in Germany. The car was tested with an amazing speed of 202 mph that blew the minds of the spectators away.

The Chevrolet Camaro is known to be the muscle car of the Camaro model. With the introduction of the 2017 Camaro ZL1 1LE, it provides proof that the Camaro is not just a muscle car but also provides fire breathing abilities and track-capable performance on the road.

The car is a mix of the existing ZL1 and the Z/28. It has a large carbon fiber rear wing and the front fascia has a dynamic air deflector with dive planes in order to keep the downforce velocities at bay. It has a DSSV or the Multimatic Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve to damper the rear and front suspension. The DSSV features solid mounted front struts, adjustable rear anti-roll bar, and camber plates plus also provides an adjustable height of riding.

The 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE is also upgraded with new sets of ultra-lightweight aluminum wheels for more track duty. It is specially mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R tires, which is the first for the company to have a cup design, that allows to warm up faster. The car also has a lighter with grippier chassis plus a 650 hp supercharged LT4 engine with 6-speed manual transmission.

Each of the models will also come with a clear carbon scoop, satin black mirrors, black tail lights and hood wrap. Additionally, it also gets an eLSD, PDR or Performace Data recorder and Positive Traction Management system as a standard package.

According to Al Oppenheiser as mentioned in Motor Trend, chief engineer for Camaro, this model is "not your daily driver" but "a little more of a daily driver than the Z/28 was."  The 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE will only be available in coupe form and a 6-speed manual transmission. It will be on sale later this year but there is no announcement of its exact pricing. Stay tuned for more updates.
