2017 Toyota Corolla iM With Lane Departure Warning, Stability Control, Keyless Entry And More

Previously called as the Scion, Toyota now introduces the 2017 Toyota Corolla iM as the car manufacturer dissolved the Scion in 2016. What can be expected with this new model? Go ahead and find out!

According to Cars review, this new 2017 Toyota Corolla iM is an attractive-looking hatchback with sharp edges and a sleek profile to show off its athletic appearance. It has 17 inches of alloy wheels with 225/45R17 tires and a LED DRL or daytime running lights that make the car stand out and visible wherever it goes as mentioned on the Toyota website. The Toyota iM also comes with aero kits to bring added dynamics in the car's side skirts, front faschia and rear bumper.

It is powered with 137hp plus 1.8L 4-cyl that allows the front wheels to be driven by either a CVT or 6-speed manual. In the CVT, it is quick in accelerating but the vehicle is more on for casual commute and driving fun rather than tight handling or speed driving. However, it has a MacPherson front suspension plus a double wishbone suspension on the rear to help hug the corners while driving.

Looking at the interior, the all-new Toyota Corolla iM has a cushioned seat with fluid dashboards that included a 7-inch touch screen, dual zone climate control to keep passengers warm as needed and has a large cargo space with a standard 60-40 rear seat to allow more passengers or cargo.

Other features of the new iM also include a display audio navigation system, an integrated Bluetooth technology, backup camera and an advanced voice recognition technology located at the steering wheel to access your music and other apps easily. One impressive feature of this vehicle is the pre-collision system that helps in avoiding a potential collision by alerting the driver with visual warnings. Followers will be surprised with the affordable $18,750 price.

Overall, the 2017 Toyota Corolla iM may lack excitement or some cutting-edge feature that would wow consumers. However, for its price, practicality, and safety, the iM is something that can be considered when buying a new vehicle.
