Apple AirPods is one of the most awaited gadgets of the year. There are many reports making rounds about the specifications of the AirPods. There are many people who also feel that the AirPods look plain. However, it can be customized for a price!

ColorWare, a US-based company will customize the AirPods for a price. And the price is not very less. The company recently made an announcement in which it said that it not only can change the color of the Airpods but of the charging case also which is used for charging them.

It comes in a wide variety of colors as there are close to 58 shades to choose from. One can even have different colored AirPods for both left and right. However, the whole thing is pretty pricey as ColorWare is charging close to $289 for the earphones and an extra $30 for the charging case. Please do note that one can opt for this only if one does not like the way the AirPod looks, reported MacWorld.

Also, there were people who were worried wondering whether the AirPods will fall off as they are wireless. From all the reports available it is now known that the AirPods do not fly off easily. However, Apple comes to rescue in case the AirPod is lost, reported Tech Crunch.

There are reports that to replace either a headphone or the case Apple will charge $69 for each item to be replaced. This is equivalent to the fee any out-of-warranty repairs or replacements due to accidental damage.

The AirPods service page by Apple reveals that the company does charge for repairing or replacing the wireless headphones. The warranty of one-year that the company offers covers defective batteries but not wear from normal use. Batteries will be serviced in either the headphones themselves or the charging case for $49.
