After over an hour of waiting, the couple decided to look in the bag to see if anything valuable was in it. While he was expecting to see an expensive camera, what he found was cash and credit cards that amounted to approximately $11,060.
"I got nervous at first, it could be drug money," Barbara Landeros said according to Yahoo. "I was scared."
Instead of keeping the money and making their Valentine's Day a little better, the couple turned the bag and its contents over to the police.

Detectives were able to locate the owner, a tourist, who left the bag in the lot accidentally according to Yahoo. He was beyond excited to get the bag back on the last day of his trip, and for their efforts he sent the couple a huge reward after reaching the couple over the phone.
The couple didn't get to have a nice Valentine's Day however, as the spent the rest of the day in traffic and ate dinner at McDonald's. They said despite the disappointing holiday, they would make the same decision again.
"My heart is rested now because the people got their money and their bag," she said.
