The 2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport boasts a more powerful turbocharged engine, a performance suspension, bold exterior styling and unique interior features. It is set to deliver on its promise: Drivers who want more out of their ride deserve better.

According to Fox News, the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport is a high-performance luxury sedan that has enough power to blow away flashy sports car without actually drawing any attention to itself. On the outside, the car comes with a black grille surround, unique headlamps, LED accent lights, small rocker panel extensions and a chin spoiler. It has a 1.6-liter turbocharge four-cylinder engine that has 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. It is available with a six-speed manual that comes at $22,450, or with a seven-speed dual clutch automatic with paddle shifters that come at $23,550. 

The Verge reported that the interior of the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport can be upgraded with additional tech and gadgets. On the inside, there are two displays. One is an eight-inch high-resolution, full-color touchscreen and the other is a 3.5-inch TFT monochromatic display on the dash. The screens are easy to use but there are a lot of physical buttons that the driver could find more convenient.

The Hyundai Elantra Sport can run on different software. It can either run on Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, or Hyundai’s proprietary software. The user interface of the Hyundai’s proprietary software is one of the worst out there, and it is really hard to master. There are also few problems with navigation and the voice commands. The map lags a bit if the driver strays away from the chosen routes. It can cause you to miss exits and opportunities to get back on track.

On the other hand, the voice command feature struggles with complicated phrases. Despite its flaws, the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport has a smooth ride, even on bumpy surfaces, and it is comfortable enough for day trips.
