Fiat Chrysler Automobiles ordered a recall of some of its vehicles particularly the 2014 to 2017 Dodge Charger and the Chrysler 300 models. This order was made when the car manufacturer discovered that the cars fitted with driveshaft bolts were not secured tightly which increased the risk of having an accident. The recall will take effect to almost 75,000 vehicles across the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

Safety Recalls is one of the worst things that every car manufacturers doesn't want to happen. However, safety is the primary concern that must be prioritized. This is the reason why Fiat Chrysler Automobiles issued a recall order.

According to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, it has already informed the NHTSA or the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration about the issue. The company mentioned that the powertrains were not fitted properly during the manufacturing process.

NHTSA said that if ever the bolts become loose after awhile, it may possibly disconnect causing car accidents. Drivers should be on the lookout for tell-tale signs. If they notice unusual vibration or noise from their vehicles it means that the bolts may have already started coming loose and they should not use the vehicle anymore.

The Fiat Chrysler Automobile is the 2nd car manufacturer to issue a recall order for its Dodge Chargers and Chrysler 300 models this month according to Sports World News. A few weeks ago, Lamborghini recalled almost 6,000 units of its supercar Aventador and also Veneno because of fire hazards.

Chrysler said that it will inform all owners of affected vehicles. The dealers were also told that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will be replacing all of the driveshaft bolts of the cars with no charge. As of today, there are no reports of accidents relating to the issue. Also, the recall of the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 models is expected to start on March 31.
