According to reports, it took almost 18 months to design and build this off-road mean machine out of a 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK. Looking at the Rattletrap now, it is clear that all of Martin Barkey Racing Products' hard work paid off.

The Jeep Wrangler Rattletrap is an ultra-capable off-roader. It is equipped with a twin turbo 5.9-liter 12-valve Cummins engine which can produce more than 500 horsepower and 1000 pound-feet of torque.

It rolls on 44 by 19.5 Pit Bull Rocker tires which make it capable of tackling any terrain possible. From dense forests, swamps, sand dunes and it can even climb obstacles over six feet high.

Indeed, Martin Barkey Racing group created an all-terrain masterpiece. Its roll cage is integrated into its frame along with a laundry list of suspension, engine, steering and cooling upgrades.

What's the purpose of creating such a menace of a vehicle? It's simple: the destroy and conquer everything in its path, just like every monster truck does.

As for how much the enormous Jeep Wrangler Rattletrap costs, it does not come cheap. It usually retails at $225,000.
