Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro News And Update: Price and Specs Revealed Ahead Of Its Local Launch!

The South Korean tech giant, Samsung, it now ready to launch its recent mid-range flagship smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro in the Malaysian market. The new flagship phone is the company's first phone to have a 6GB of RAM and was recently released in India at a price tag of Rs. 36,900.

The phone was originally released for the China market, sporting a 6-inches full-HD Super AMOLED display. Both the back and front cameras are rated at 16-megapixel with a large f/1.9 aperture for better low light photography.

The new Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro will go on sale in Malaysia in March at a price of RM2299. The official price of the flagship phone in the Chinese market is around RM224.

A few reports suggest that the flagship phone will be available in Gold, Black and Pink color models in Malaysia. The Indian market currently offers the black and gold color models to customers.

When it comes to the specifications, it flaunts a 6-inch 1080 Super AMOLED display with a 2.5D curved glass on top of it. It's powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 653 SoC, which is an octa-core chip matched with 6GB of RAM. It also comes with Adreno 510 GPU to handle the graphic intensive task.

Mr. L Subhash Chandra, Managing Director, Sangeetha Mobiles, said, "India is set to overtake the US as the second- largest smartphone market by units.The Indian consumers are evolved and are always on a lookout for new smartphones which caters to their need of large screen, new design, faster phones, camera and Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro meets all these requirements. Sangeetha Mobiles is excited to unveil the latest smartphone from Samsung to its esteemed customers."

Other features of the new smartphone include a 64GB internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB, 4000mAh battery with fast charging facility and runs on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C, Wifi, and Bluetooth connectivity. 

It's still unknown on when will the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro be ready to hit the United States and how much they will it cost when they do. Samsung has yet to make an official announcement, so take this news with a grain of salt for now.
