Ford Motors is finally replacing its ancient E- Series van with the 2019 Ford Transit vans. This a welcome development for delivery services. The new design is craftier and more angular than its predecessors.

Designing cars can be sure a lot of fun. It is going to test creativity in designing the next iconic car to hit the market. Grilles, car shapes, wheels, etc. the creative juice flowing in every designer's mind is exhilarating. Unless of course, the car you need to design is a van. Then you're stumped. So when Ford Transit announces it's going to replace the ancient E-Series vans with its 2019 Ford Transit van, delivery people now have a sigh of relief.

Ford will be redesigning the 2019 Ford Transit van. It is going to put angles on the design for aesthetic purposes. Its front end will be lower and the hind quarter will be angular.

 According to All Auto Experts, altering the cabin design would be a priority. Inspirations from other model and more designs in its dashboard would be a welcome development.

The 2019 Ford Transit van will be powered by a 3.0-liter turbo diesel V6 engine. Transmission gear will be a 10 speed automatic for easier shifting. Also, it will be connected to give power to either the rear or all wheels.

The 2017 E-Series van has a 3.7-liter TL-VCT V6 engine. Its transmission is a 6-speed automatic gear for an easy shift in long drives. Comparing the 2017 model with the 2019 Ford Transit van, the latter will be lighter as it would have more aluminum components but with thicker material on other parts.

Carscoops Reviews reports that the old model has a top speed of 97 miles per hour and can accelerate from 0-60 in 7.5 seconds. It is a cargo hauler or people mover which can seat up to 15 people and it has a special GPS System to track its whereabouts.
