‘Fullmetal Alchemist:’ Edward and Alphonse Figurines Announced; Franchise Revived With Adorable Dolls

It has been many years that the "Fullmetal Alchemist" franchise vanished. Now, they are all set to make a huge comeback with adorable figurines of the characters.

In 2017, the franchise's most famous title, "Shonen" will make a comeback when its first live-action film hits theaters in Japan. The film will see the return of characters like Edward and Alphonse Elric. The project is headed by Warner Bros. Japan.

The premiere of the film is just around the corner and the fans of the series are bringing on the anime titles. This way the title which almost vanished is totally revived reported Comic Book.

To add on, Good Smile has added the figurines of both Edward and Alphonse as a part of their Nendoroid figures. This will be released at this year's Winter Fest. The very adorable miniature figures of the characters will soon be available.

The sassy figurine of Edward looks a little shorter than his version in the anime. The figurine has a sly grin and is performing a transmutation sans circle. Alphonse has a very cute suit of armor, reported International Business Times.

For the uninitiated, there is a lot of time to catch up on the anime before the live-action film releases. The series is focused on the story of two brothers Edward and Alphonse after their mother tragically passes. In the anime series, they try to revive her with the help of alchemy. However, tragically, Edward loses his arm and leg and it takes Alphonse's entire body.

The duo tries to become alchemists so as to restore their body. In the hunt for the Philosopher's Stone, they encounter government corruption and mass genocide.

The fans of the shonen series are excited and they await the premiere of the live-action feature of the Fullmetal Alchemist. The series will make its debut in Japan in December.
