The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the most awaited phones of 2017. It is reported that Samsung is playing around with the design of the phone and changing a few things. There are a few features in the new phone that ditch the traditional route of Samsung.
It is rumored that the new Samsung Galaxy S8 is giving up on the iconic home button that every Samsung phone had. By doing so, it is making the bezels a lot slimmer. The phone is said to have replaced the physical navigation buttons with on-screen buttons.
There are a few leaks regarding the specifications of Samsung Galaxy S8. Samsung has included some diagrams of the GS8 in Tab S3. Through the help of these diagrams, it can be seen that the on-screen navigation buttons are placed at the bottom of the rounded screen. This is not much deviation from the earlier handsets, reported Forbes.
Also, it is revealed that the Korean phone manufacturer has designed its own icons. These icons are a complete deviation from what most of the Android devices have.
It was also revealed that Samsung transferred the fingerprint sensor to the rear. It is now placed right next to the phone's camera, reported The Quebec Times.
What's fascinating about the leaked pictures is that it revealed a "DeX Dock" in Samsung Galaxy S8. Using this dock, the phone can be piped over to a PC monitor using HDMI. Using this, the phone can power a desktop-style UI. This will give access to all the data on the phone.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is not yet revealed. It is reported that Samsung will announce the Galaxy Tab S3 at Mobile World Congress in a few days. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will not be introduced at the event. The company might be revealing the upcoming event at a dedicated event, later.
