Nintendo Switch LATEST Experts Review: Touch Screen Inaccessible When Docked To A TV; More Details Here

Nintendo Switch is nearing its official release in barely few days. Gaming enthusiasts the world over just can't contain their excitement as they await this day. Nintendo Switch offers portability and other features that may not be available in other consoles of Nintendo, but is it really all the rage? Is it worth buying?

According to Ars Technica, they are few of the lucky ones to get their hands on this much-awaited gaming console. A valuable insight is then made available by the reliable site for everyone's reference. Nintendo Switch was tested by playing "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."

Off the bat, it was described that Nintendo Switch did not produce the "Wow Factor" which is expected from a new gaming console. The game "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was played on TV and it did not sport anything that's relatively graphically impressive.

However, as the game was played in portable mode, it seemed that winds have shifted. The high resolution and size of the screen provided necessary elements for a complete gaming experience. It provided good health displays and button prompts can be both small and clearly legible.

It was also reported interesting to play "Breath of the Wild" using the Joy-Cons detached from the system. The individual controllers can be connected to a centralized Grip for a more dual-stick feel. If held separately, gamers will be comfortable playing with their hands able to rest anywhere as opposed to scrunching together directly.

Another observed function which may somehow be an issue to prolific gamers is its touchscreen. It is functional when using one finger to tap on to the system menus and that is pretty much it. It is completely inaccessible when docked to a TV. The back of Nintendo Switch can also get pretty warm after hours of use, however, it is just noticeable but not uncomfortable for players. This is normal for any gadgets in the first place.

As added by The Verge, the Nintendo Switch is an exceptionally well-crafted piece of hardware, which is comparable to what Sony did with PlayStation Vita. Gamers have high hopes for the upcoming gaming console. Sure it has its minor quirks, but what gadget doesn't? It totally depends on the player. Since it offers portability and impressive display, it is expected to make it big as it gets officially released on March 3, 2017.
