Android 8.0 Oreos Teased By Google; Android 7.0 Nougat Might Soon Be A Thing Of The Past

Android 8.0 Oreo was teased by Google through a series of Oreo images. Android 7.0 might be soon out of date because of the emergence of this new android version.

Hiroshi Lockheimer, Android SVP, even tweeted an Oreo cake that hinted what the new android might be called. Google seemed too adamant to release this despite the fact that Android 7.0 has not been completely rolled out to compatible devices.

Segment Next reported that this might mean that Android 8.0 might still be a long shot. It might be important to note that Android 8.0 Oreo is not the final name of the product. The new android version's name will be released on March.

It can be remembered that when Android 7.0 was being promoted, Google released a lot of Nutella pictures for Android 7.0 that was not called Nutella but Nougat.

Express reported that the company is known for naming their androids after sweets like Marshmallow, Lollipop and Nougat. Android 7.0 might be soon out of style but it still have amazing features that were better than past android versions.

Android 7.0 is known to have better encryption that allows files and folders to be saved in an encrypted file. It also has a quick switch that allows users to jump from one file to another in just a double-tap.

It also has a multi-window that can allow apps to open side by side in smartphones or tablets. It also has a better battery life than Android Marshmallow.

It also has an instant app that allows users to use apps from Google Play Store. It also has a better data server that reduces cellular use in apps.

It could be remembered that Automotive News reported the company created an android operating system for cars last year. Now, Google is expanding the android system reach with Android 7.0 Nougat and Android 8.0 Oreo.
