RM Sotheby’s 2017 Paris Sale – Cars With Ridiculously Huge Prices Old And New Alike!

The RM Sotheby's 2017 Paris Auction in Paris is a complete success. Almost 78 cars were sold to car enthusiasts who anticipated the event. The collection was a mix of vintage cars and new ones as well.

It is the largest auction house for automobiles that are considered as investments and world-class quality. They have been in the business for almost 35 years and is among the trusted name when it comes to auctioning quality vehicles. Take a look at the lists of the auctioned vehicles in the RM Sotheby's 2017 last auction.

One of the cars featured in the auction was the 2016 Porsche 911R. Sold with an astounding price of $564,936, this car was launched early last year and was said to be the most anticipated model 911 car for years. With a 6-speed manual, 500hp and lightweight body, who wouldn't want to get their hands on this beauty?

But if you think that the Porsche 911R is expensive, well the 1988 Porsche 959 Sport was sold much more as mentioned by Car Buzz. Regarded as one of the best sports cars that was ever made, this was also sold in the auction for a huge $2.08 million beating the record amount of $935,000 when the same model was sold in Arizona and for $1.21 million at another RM auction last 2015.

According to Automobile Mag fans of vintage cars were not disappointed as the 1957 Lancia Appia GT Zagato was also sold with a price of $202,128. It is a tiny sports coupe with an impressive 50hp on its belt. Surely, fans of the Ferrari were also indulged as the 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO was also sold for $477,720. Other cars sold in the RM Sotheby's 2017 auction were the 1993 Bentley Continental R for $61,827 and 1970 Lamborghini Jarama 400 GT for $138,714.
