Considered as one of the most highly-anticipated phones expected to debut this year, the Moto G5 is the subject of several leaks. The latest one to surface reveals the phone's live photos which gave excited fans a quick peek of what to expect from this flagship phone.
What was obvious with the latest leak is that the Moto G5 will sport a removable metal back plate. This information confirms another rumor that the phone will have a removable battery. The phone is also rumored to sport a 2800mAh battery pack. The rumor about the phone sporting a 5-inch display appears to be true as well.
On the front, the Moto G5 sports a fingerprint scanner which is integrated at the bottom part. There are speculations claiming that the fingerprint scanner could also double as a Home button, although this has not been proven yet. There are also rumors claiming that the fingerprint scanner will function as sort of trackpad which can be used for scrolling, according to Pocket-Lint.
Another photo shows the phone running on Android 7.0 Nougat. This has been widely speculated before, and the fact that it appears on a live photo of the Moto G5 just adds legitimacy to previously held rumors.
Regarding its specs, the Moto G5 is expected to have a Snapdragon 430 chipset with 2GB of RAM, while the more premium G5 Plus model will get the Snapdragon 625 chipset with 2GB of RAM, according to GSM Arena.
