The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport was first released back in 2010. This year, the Japanese car manufacturer came out with a Limited Edition (LE) trim of the 2017 Outlander Sport.

The Limited Edition 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. The Limited Edition trim of the 2017 Outlander Sport revealed during this year's Chicago Auto Show which started last February 11 at the McCormick Place. The new Limited Edition 2017 Outlander Sport is a relatively affordable vehicle packed with a lot of features.

The new trim level sports an alloy fuel door, black door mirrors, fog lamps, HID headlights, 18-inch wheels, a rearview camera, and, of course, a Limited Edition badge. The LE will come in 7 colors and its interior has been upgraded with black and red stitching on the steering wheel, brake lever, and shift knob. It also features heated seats, an infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, and aluminum pedals.

The LE is an attempt by the Japanese car manufacturer to take the Outlander Sport a step further by integrating additional technology and standard equipment for a price that is normally not associated with crossover utility vehicles (CUV).

In a statement about the LE trim, executive vice president and chief operating officer Don Swearingen said, "As the brand sales leader, Outlander Sport does an exemplary job of offering consumers unmatched value at an attractive price." Swearingen further added, "We've now taken that approach one step further by integrating additional standard equipment and technology into the Limited Edition at a price point that is unprecedented within the broader CUV segment."

Nothing else is currently known about the Limited Edition Mitsubishi Outlander Sport except that it will set buys back by US$21,995.00. The vehicle sits just above the base trim Outlander Sport ES. The Limited Edition 2017 Outlander Sport will arrive in dealerships within the month of February.
